Management Consulting
The use of information and communication technology (ICT) is crucial to the success of many companies. However, it increases the risk of problems and conflicts arising between the poles of organization, technology and (legal) agreements. The dependence of many companies on ICT limits their scope for solutions and considerably complicates entrepreneurial decisions.
IT Projects
IT projects include the procurement of new hardware and/or software, the introduction and parameterization of application systems, the outsourcing of services and the adaptation of system processes to business processes. They have a high risk potential in common: Most projects exceed the scheduled time or the available budget, while at the same time often only part of the intended scope of services is realized. In this context, we offer different support services to safeguard the project success.
Litigation and conciliation
If new information systems show deficiencies which significantly impair the operating procedure, the following questions will frequently arise:
- Are they user errors or are there any errors within the program or the hardware?
- Will the continued use of the system pay off or do the deficiencies show that the system cannot be used productively?
- If several suppliers are involved, e. g. in the categories hardware and software, the following question might arise: Who is responsible for performing error correction measures?
IT systems
The application software does no longer meet the current requirements or the system response times have deteriorated over the time. The system disconnects sporadically so that the operation is seriously disturbed. The support costs of a system which has been implemented for quite some time increase permanently without the performance being improved.
